A light, comfortable, safety shoe with side-mounted BOA®. Waterproof due to GORE-TEX. Its Microfiber upper and sock-like construction provides great comfort and fit and has anti-static properties. The nitrile outer sole is heat and oil resistant for outstanding grip. It features also our JALAS® aluminium toe cap, plasma-treated textile puncture protection and double impact protection zones in PORON® XRD®.
One of the latest innovations from the Finnish company Jalas are Goratex work boots. The world-renowned Gore-Tex waterproof membrane can be found primarily on the models of the Jalas Exalter premium collection.
In order to make the shoe more resistant to water and various dirt, it contains a closed tongue so that nothing gets into the shoe around the tongue.
Fastening is in the form of a rotating wheel with stainless steel cables - BOA system.
Jalas 9988 footwear offers antistatic properties and also meets the ESD standard. The footwear is thus included in the ESD footwear category.
The shoes are also equipped with a pleasant and comfortable lining made of Polyamide, thanks to which a pleasant climate is maintained in the shoe.
Work shoes with Vibram soles are suitable for demanding customers in difficult conditions. High-quality Vibram rubber soles can be found e.g. also on top quality hiking shoes.
The insole, as with most Finnish Jalas, contains the unique cushioning foam Poron XRD. Thanks to it, walking in these shoes is really soft and the shoes are suitable for all-day wear.

What are the real sizes?Most Jalas shoes are standard size. In the case of special shoes, such as welding or winter shoes, you can choose one size smaller. Some Jalas shoes are larger than the European standard.
